Snoring
prevention
While most people who snore
dont seem to be losing any sleep over it, it may be a source of tension to
anyone else within earshot. So be kind to others and follow these hints to help
prevent snoring.
Lose
weight
Eat an
earlier dinner
Keep
your mouth closed with store-bought products made specifically for this purpose
Use a
nose-guard to open up the nostril
Sleeping
on your side is better than sleeping on your back, which tends to encourage
snoring
Sometimes,
allergies can cause snoring so check with a doctor and take your allergy
medication
Alcohol
and/or sleeping pills can lead to snoring because they cause relaxation of the
tongue and soft pallet at the back of the throat, which can cause snoring
Surgery is an option but should only be considered as a last resort
